Our Story
Lee Ackerman, the visionary behind L A Landscapes, Inc., has been passionate about landscaping since a young age. After graduating from North Central High School, he embarked on a journey to turn his love for the outdoors into a thriving business. Armed with knowledge, skill, and a strong work ethic, Lee started a small lawn care and mowing business, laying the foundation for what would become L A Landscapes, Inc. With the support of his wife, Wendy, the company flourished, expanding its services to include landscape design and installation. Together, they navigated the challenges and triumphs of growing a business, all while raising a family. Their dedication and perseverance through the 2008 recession demonstrated their unwavering commitment to their dream. Today, Lee Ackerman continues to lead the company with the same passion and determination that fueled its early success.
LA Landscapes Inc is a family-owned design and build company based in Noblesville, Indiana, with more than twenty years of outdoor craftsmanship behind it.
We design and build the spaces families actually live in — outdoor kitchens, paver patios, retaining walls, pergolas, fire features and layered lighting — across Hamilton County. Every project starts with a walk of your property and a real design, and nothing gets built until you've seen it and signed off.
And when the job is on the water, we're the crew that shows up equipped — our own barge moves machines and materials across Morse Reservoir to shorelines trucks can't touch. The difficult jobs are the ones we're known for.
